NOUN Graduation Requirement for Faculty of Law




The National Open University Of Nigeria NOUN Faculty of Law Graduation requirement is as follows:-
First, to qualify for graduation a student must have spent a minimum of five years (5yrs) i.e. ten (10) semesters for entry 100 level and four years (4yrs) i.e. 8 semesters for direct entry level at 200 level.


The student admitted to 100 level must have earned a minimum of one hundred and ninety-eight (198) unit while those admitted to 200 level must have earned a total of one hundred and ninety-one unit.
It is imperative and important that the student meets the admission requirement for the LL. B programme to qualify for graduation.

The student must have passed all the compulsory courses in the faculty and all the compulsory elective courses for the LL. B programme.

In addition, to the above, the student is expected to have passed all the GST prescribed courses for the programme by the University and completed the long essay (Law 500)
