It is tautological and fallacious (😂)  to say that the "Method of Calculating Exam Score" has been modified variaby owing to the new "Grading System" NOUN is about to adopt (unsound evidence).*


*However, the new system is very easy bcos it provides straightforward solution to the calculations we are about to perfom. It can otherwise be called "Direct Substitution Method.*


*Let  X = EXAM SCORE (OVER 70)*

*Y = TMA SCORE (OVER 30)*

*Z = TOTAL SCORE PER COURSE*


*For instance, a student who sat for GST203 scored 50/70 (in the exam) and 30/30 in TMA 1,2 and 3. His total grade for GST203 will be calculated thus:*



*APPLYING THE FORMULA: X + Y = Z*

*X = 50* *Y = 30* *Z = ?*

*50 + 30 = 80*

*.•. Z = 80*


*TOTAL SCORE FOR GST203 is 80/100*

0-39 — F

40-49 — D

*50-59 — C*

*60-69 — B*

*70-100 – A*
