How To Calculate NOUN Examination and TMA Scores (e-Exam)
Exam carries 70 marks
TMA is carries 30 marks
30 + 70 = 100 marks (Max score for a course)
To calculate your total score over 100, use this formula:
Formula: X/Y x 70/1
Let X = EXAM SCORE
Y = TOTAL NUMBER OF EXAM QUESTIONS
Which simply means, EXAM SCORE divided by NUMBER OF EXAM QUESTION multiplied by 70.
Whatever your result is from the above calculation, you’ll now add it to your TMA.
Let’s do the math for a course:
Exam score (X) = 80
Total number of exam question (Y) = 100
Therefore, it will be 80/100 x 70
Exam score is 56 (N.B.: TMA score is 29.50).
Now, to get final result add 56 + 29.50
Therefore, the total score for the course is 85.5 (A)
