NAL President Visits NOUN VC
President of the Nigerian Academy of Letters, Professor Francis Egbokhare, this afternoon paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Professor Abdalla Uba Adamu.
Egbokhare was accompanied on the visit by the immediate past president of the Academy, Professor Olu Obafemi.
They informed the Vice-Chancellor that they were in the university as part of the invigilation team for the ongoing JAMB examination exercise for the blind and decided to pay him a visit as a member of the Academy.
After welcoming them in his office, the Vice-Chancellor thanked them for their contribution to NAL.
He presented them with NOUN souvenirs in demonstration of the university’s goodwill towards the Academy.
Recall that Adamu was inducted as a member of the prestigious academy in August 2018 in recognition of his contribution to the literary world.
