The The National Open University of Nigeria Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdalla Uba Adamu, yesterday , hosted The Open University of UK’s Dr. Kerry Murphy, who was at the University for a partnership.
Murphy, of Open STEM Africa, is with the Faculty of Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics, at the OU.
The Vice-Chancellor, welcomed him to the university and expressed the readiness of the university to establish partnerships with the OU.
He said NOUN is the ideal place for such collaborations with its sister university in the UK and hopes that it will foster positive outcomes to both parties.
Discussions about the technical details of such collaborations then went to the level of relevant Deans, where Prof. Grace E. Jokthan of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Prof. Moniola Olaniyi of Faculty of Sciences thrashed the salient points.
