1a.     There is no generally acceptable definition of Comparative Education. DISCUSS         (15 marks).
1b.     The phases of historical development of comparative education can be divided into three:
(i)                 Name the three phases                     -           3 Marks
(ii)               Discuss the three extensively  -                       4 Marks each = (12 Marks)
2a.    Many approaches  can be used to study comparative
education. Mention and discuss any five of them. 10 marks (2 Marks each)
2b.    Mention five academic or professional associations which directly influence the development of national educational systems.

4.      Compare Teacher Education in:
         (a)       Nigeria and Tanzania              10 Marks
         (b)       List the scope of Comparative Education                          10 Marks
